About our Crackers

What is the difference between a Signature Set and an Essential Set?

Our Signature Set includes our fabric crackers, a joke set, and coordinating premium reversible cotton crowns with adjustable ribbon ties. Simply add a small gift to each cracker, ready for your table or to give as a thoughtful gift.

Our Essential Set is designed for those who prefer crackers without crowns or already have crowns they love.

Where are the crackers and crowns made?

Our Launch Collection has been sourced from Australian fabric suppliers and sewn by the Endeavour Foundation of Australia in Sydney. Crackers and sets have been hand assembled by Heirloom Crackers in Brisbane. The inner tubes are custom sized for Heirloom Cracker fabric sets and are sourced in Australia.

Why are snaps not included?

Our crackers are supplied without snaps due to posting restrictions.

Do the sets come with gifts?

No, our crackers are supplied without gifts, leaving you free to choose something thoughtful for each recipient. Heirloom Crackers began with a desire to move away from unwanted trinkets and the disposable waste of traditional bon bons, and towards a more personal tradition. 

What can I put inside the crackers?

A little something chosen just for the recipient. Ideas include a handwritten note, a gift voucher, money, earrings, a small beauty product, socks, or a miniature bottle of their favourite drink. They can also hold a thoughtful wedding favour or a small keepsake. Choose items that fit comfortably inside without stretching the fabric.

Our product images begin with photographs of our actual Heirloom Crackers and crowns. We use AI-assisted editing to refine backgrounds and presentation, and AI-generated lifestyle scenes to help you imagine the products at your table. Please refer to the individual product photographs and description for fabric details and set contents.

For lifestyle images we have made use of AI-created lifestyle setting, based on our product photography.

Ordering & delivery

When will my order be dispatched?

Your order will be carefully prepared and dispatched within 2 business days. During busy periods, including the lead-up to Christmas, please allow up to 5 business days for dispatch.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs are calculated at checkout depending upon the number of boxes you order. Complimentary standard free shipping within Australia for orders $150+.

How long will delivery take?

Once dispatched, please allow approximately 5 business days for delivery within Australia. Delivery to regional and remote locations may take longer. These timeframes are estimates, so we recommend ordering early for special occasions.

Can I order for a wedding, celebration or a particular date?

If you’re ordering for a special occasion, please contact us before placing your order with your required date, delivery postcode and the number of sets you need. We’ll let you know whether we can accommodate your request.

Can I change my order or delivery address?

Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and the details you’d like to change. We’ll do our best to help, but changes may not be possible once your order has been dispatched.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, we’ll email you a tracking link so you can follow its journey.

Care & reuse

How do I clean my crackers?

Gently spot clean the fabric as needed. For a more thorough clean, remove the fabric covers from the paperboard cylinders and wash gently. The fabric is 100% cotton and may be ironed. Keep the paperboard cylinders dry.

How do I care for the crowns?

Crowns can be spot cleaned or gently washed. We recommend placing them in a washbag to protect the ribbon ties.

How do I refill and reassemble my crackers?

1. Roll up a crown, if using, and select a joke or quote for each cracker.
2. Choose a small gift and place it inside the smaller tube, along with your crown and joke or quote. Gifts are not included.
3. Line up the seams of the two cracker pieces, then gently slide the smaller tube into the larger tube.
4. Tie each end with a ribbon, ready for your next celebration.
